Course Objectives
INTRODUCTION TO CLINICAL HYPNOSIS AND ERICKSONIAN HYPNOSIS
This is a beginner’s workshop designed for participants who have clinical experience and want to learn how to utilize hypnosis with their clients.
- Participants will learn the basic elements and processes of hypnosis and how it applies to the treatment of chronic pain and irritable bowel syndrome, as well as weight loss and smoking cessation.
- Participants will learn how to evaluate a client’s perception modality and how to design a hypnotic process for the specific perceptual type of the client.
- Participants will be introduced to the Ericksonian method of hypnosis.
- There will be demonstrations of the various types of hypnotic processes.
